AXTEN appoints a new Partner in Contract Law

Benoît PHILIPPE has been appointed as a Partner from the 1st January 2017 and became the 10th Partner of AXTEN.

In order to assist its growth and to best meet the expectations of its clients, Benoît PHILIPPE became part of AXTEN Law Firm since autumn of 2013 to take on direct responsibilities of the firm’s expertise in “Contracts, Competition and Distribution”.

Since then, he advises AXTEN’s clients on legal issues:

  • in contract and distribution law,
  • in competition and regulation law
  • and in consumer and sales promotion law.

34AxtenNew BPHrecadréeBenoît PHILIPPE, 39, holds a Degree in Corporate Legal Consulting (DJCE) and a Master’s Degree (DESS) in Business Law (University of Caen – 2000). He began his career in the “European law, competition and economic regulations” department of CMS BUREAU FRANCIS LEFEBVRE in Paris where he worked for eight years. He then joined a French law firm for one year before establishing his own organisation from 2011 to 2013.

In addition, Benoît PHILIPPE and Pierre LAFORÊT (Member of the Aix-en-Provence Bar since 2015) are pleased to welcome a new associate lawyer, Anaïs OLIVIER. Holding a Master’s degree in Tax and Business Law and Accounting from the University of Aix-Marseille III, Anaïs will strengthen the “Contracts, Competition and Distribution” team of AXTEN.
